Fully coated with brilliant running and further processing properties

PIROL is also available as a special FOOD+ quality. FOOD+ is a barrier that protects food from mineral oil migration. PIROL is therefore suitable for the direct packaging of certain dry and non-greasy foods, even without FOOD+. In addition to its excellent printability and brilliant running and processing properties, it is also suitable for a very wide range of applications in the food and non-food sectors.

Its characteristic features include:

• Excellent printability thanks to high smoothness
• Very good runnability
• Optimum further processing properties
• FOOD+ variant protects against mineral oil migration onto foodstuffs
• Pirol basis weight range: from 280 – 450 gsm (14 – 23 pt)
• Approval according to the 36th recommendation of the BfR, among others
