SERRAPID Components + Compatibility
The SERRAPID cylinder can be manufactured to install on any rotary die cutter.
The SERRAPID cylinder can be constructed with dual mounting systems, the proprietary “mushroom” hold-down system as well as a conventional bolt-on die-mounting system that will enable you to use your existing dies without modification. The lead pins which enable easy placement and mounting of mushroom-ready dies retract to allow mounting of conventional dies.
Alternately, SHARP International can convert your existing conventional dies to make full use of the SERRAPID cylinder at your plant.
The “mushroom” hold-down pattern is the same for all cylinders of the same diameter, irrespective of the manufacture or model of the die-cutter, so your dies will be compatible between different machines (so long as your cylinder diameter is the same).
